History of this web site: This web site makes available the research of Mavis Smith regarding the ancestors, siblings, and descendants of William Nuttall (B. 1796) and those of Mary Langhorn (b. 1798), his wife. William, Mary and their three sons emigrated to America in 1852. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, this family helped influence the industrialization of Utah by transporting some of the first sugar beet factory machinery to the Salt Lake Valley in Utah.
